Biography

Roshni joined Whelton Hiutin LLP as an associate in 2022. She articled at Cavalluzzo LLP, where she practiced union-side labour and employment law alongside medical malpractice, human rights and constitutional law.

Roshni graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School in the spring of 2021. During her time in law school, Roshni worked with Parkdale Community Legal Services and the Barbra Schlifer Commemorative Clinic, providing legal assistance to women who have experienced violence and abuse, in practice areas such as immigration, family and criminal law. Committed to principles of diversity, inclusion and equity, she was also involved in the South Asian Law Students Association, the Osgoode Hall Law Union, and was a Senior Editor for the Journal of Law and Social Policy.

Roshni also participated in a variety of moots and litigation-based courses, including the Kawaskimhon Aboriginal Law Moot and the Lerner’s Cup Mooting Competition, in which she received 1st Place. She looks forward to furthering her interest in litigation and her dedication to creative, principled and steadfast advocacy with Whelton Hiutin LLP.
