Our Legal Team

Sukhdeep is an associate at Whelton Hiutin LLP. He primarily practices in the areas of civil and commercial litigation, personal injury and employment law. Sukhdeep routinely represents developers, builders and commercial landlords and tenants, while also representing employees and victims of serious personal injury matters.

Sukhdeep has argued cases at the Superior Court of Justice and the Court of Appeal for Ontario. He has also represented his clients at the Ontario Court of Justice. Sukhdeep brings a strategic and zealous approach to litigation while remaining practical. He believes that successful outcomes in legal disputes require genuine collaboration between lawyers and their clients.

Sukhdeep graduated from the University of Windsor, Faculty of Law in the spring of 2020. During law school Sukhdeep was involved in a variety of legal and community initiatives, including Community Legal Aid and the South Asian Law Students Association. He also volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada in an attempt to blend his legal pursuits with his passion to advocate for those affected by mental health. With the help of his colleagues, he produced an interactive seminar and brochure. The program was designed to outline housing rights and legal solutions to common discriminatory situations faced by those with mental health concerns.

In his free time, Sukhdeep enjoys spending time with his family and friends. His hobbies include watching and playing football, boxing and engaging in a variety of martial arts.
