On June 5th, SWMS hosted an evening of cocktails, hors d’ouevres, and live music.
The event was held at the Verity, a stunning 57,000 sq. ft. private women’s club that caters to an amazing, diverse group of members ranging from the corporate world elite to award-winning entrepreneurs to creative artisans. Under the culinary leadership of renowned Executive Chef Lorenzo Loseto, food was provide by the restaurant, GEORGE which has become a top-rated restaurant in Toronto.
Cebile Manzini-Henwood of Crossroads International spoke about the very important work on girls’ empowerment in Swaziland.
Guests also enjoyed listening to live music by the Grenadier String Quartet with violinists Clare Pellerin, Kimiko Suzuki, Yeganeh Sotudehnia and cellist Darya Zonoozi.
